City of Cayce issued the following announcement on July 14.
The City of Cayce is currently accepting applications for the position of Refuse Collector. This individual would collect garbage and yard trash from the back of a rear-loader truck, operate a packer mechanism and assist in carrying and dumping refuse and would also perform other related duties as required.
Preferred requirements include basic reading and writing skills, with the ability to learn and apply new skills in the collection and disposal of residential and commercial refuse. Must be in good to excellent physical condition and able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
