Census Bureau: 76.7 percent of people in Lexington County were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 290,278 citizens living in Lexington County in 2019, 222,622 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 115,708 of those people were female and 106,914 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
