In his post, he stated: “Emergency managers have helped South Carolinians through a range of disasters from hurricanes to wildfires. This August, I join millions of Americans to celebrate the emergency managers who help us prepare, endure, and recover when disaster strikes.”
Later that same day, Scott celebrated a sports achievement for the state. He wrote: “Huge win for Irmo’s Little League team! Congratulations as they head to the Little League World Series for the first time!
