U.S. Senator Tim Scott has recently used his social media platform to highlight discussions with local leaders and address concerns about healthcare policy.

On December 11, 2025, Scott shared insights from meetings with regional business organizations, stating: “Heard from local leaders and members of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, and the Grand Strand Business Alliance on regional priorities including workforce, infrastructure, and coastal management. Always appreciate hearing from https://t.co/yu2Ku62VBc”.

A day later, on December 12, 2025, Scott addressed healthcare costs for families in a post that read: “Year after year, middle-class families are seeing their health insurance premiums rise because of Obamacare, a system that has been in crisis since day one. Obamacare is broken, and your continuous premium increases are proof of that. That’s why I voted to begin fixing the mess”.

Later on December 12, Scott commented on county-level initiatives in South Carolina: “Horry County Council members shared updates on key initiatives, from transportation to disaster preparedness and opioid recovery. Great to see their dedication to making life better for South Carolinians and strengthening the community. https://t.co/2vWs4cceF3”.

Senator Tim Scott represents South Carolina in the U.S. Senate and frequently engages with local organizations such as chambers of commerce and county councils to discuss economic development and community resilience efforts. His public criticism of the Affordable Care Act reflects ongoing national debates over healthcare policy.
