Ashlyn Watkins, former Cardinal Newman School standout’s collegiate team plays on Friday, March 21 in Division I NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament

On Friday, March 21, former Cardinal Newman School standout Ashlyn Watkins’ current collegiate team the South Carolina Gamecocks won 108-48 against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Colonial Life Arena, this was the first game against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles during the championship.

The South Carolina Gamecocks’ next game will take place on Sunday, March 23 at 7 p.m. in Colonial Life Arena against Indiana Hoosiers.

Ashlyn Watkins’ hometown is Columbia and game position is forward.
