U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, issued a statement regarding the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo.

"The Chevron doctrine was, at its heart, not constitutionally sound and it now rests at the bottom of the legal sea," said Graham.

He further remarked on the implications of this decision: "The administrative state was much too empowered under the Chevron doctrine. With its demise, courts will have more power to set aside ludicrous actions by unelected bureaucrats."

Graham concluded his statement by saying, "Today is a good day for the economy and a good day for freedom."
