Seventeen law enforcement groups have come forward to oppose the nomination of a certain individual, Mangi. The organizations include the Rockland County Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, Inc., the National Association of Police Organizations, Inc., and the National Sheriffs’ Association, among others.
These groups collectively voiced their opposition to Mangi's nomination, expressing their concerns and objections.
The Rockland County Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, Inc., stated their position against the nomination, along with the National Association of Police Organizations, Inc., and the National Sheriffs’ Association. Similarly, the State Troopers NCO Association of New Jersey, Inc., the New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association, Inc., and the Sergeants Benevolent Association of the New York City Police Department have all joined in opposition.
Other organizations opposing the nomination include the National Troopers Coalition, the Association of Former New Jersey State Troopers, Inc., the Police Conference of New York, and the Massachusetts Coalition of Police. Additionally, the Las Vegas Police Protective Association Metro, Inc., the Pennsylvania Fraternal Order of Police, and the Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5 have also expressed their disapproval.
Rounding out the list of organizations against the nomination are the Pennsylvania State Troopers Association, the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association, the Police Chiefs Association of Rockland County, and the State of Hawaii Organization of Police Officers.
