Event Details

The next monthly luncheon will be Tuesday, February 21st, at the Chamber at 11 am.The guest speaker will be Bailey Parker from the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs. In 2012, Bailey started her communications career at KSTU Fox 13 in Salt Lake City, Utah as a producer, reporter and fill-in anchor. She made the jump to public relations in 2015 as a communications specialist with Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, Utah and won six public relations related awards while there. Currently, Ms. Parker is the Communications and Public Information Director for the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs. She loves traveling the Palmetto State to meet with consumers and provide education on topics like identity theft and scams, financial literacy and credit reports.

Lunch Choices:

Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich or Smokehouse BBQ Chicken Sandwich for $15.50.Please register via the Eventbrite link by February 17th.

With experience in welcoming visitors to the area, the Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center is proud to host these luncheons on the third Tuesday of each month. The purpose of the Newcomers and Community Club of Lexington, SC is to extend a welcoming hand to both newcomers and existing residents of the Lexington area and to promote good fellowship within the community through social as well as charitable activities. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends, develop lasting relationships and give back to the community in which we live.
