City of Columbia: CDBG- Disaster Recovery Program: Public Input Meeting

City of Columbia issued the following announcement on January 28.

In accordance with the federal regulations, 24 CFR, Part 91, the City of Columbia is preparing to amend the City of Columbia Community Development Block Grant- Disaster Recovery Action Plan. The City of Columbia announces a public comment period to review the proposed amendments to the programs. The purpose of the meeting is to allow the public an opportunity to review and comment on progress, achievements and expenditures of the federal CDBG- Disaster Recovery Program and Action Plan.

To encourage public input in this review process a public meeting will be held:

Citizens will have the opportunity to review the proposed amendments to the City of Columbia CDBG- Disaster Recovery Action Plan beginning January 28, 2022 at https://dr.columbiasc.gov/action-plan/ or request a copy from the Community Development Department. Public comments regarding the City of Columbia CDBG- Disaster Recovery Action Plan can be submitted via comment form at https://dr.columbiasc.gov/comment-form/, emailed to CoCCommDevCompliance@columbiasc.gov, mailed to the Community Development Department, CDBG Disaster Recovery Program, 1401 Main St., 4th Floor, Columbia, SC 29201 or faxed to (803) 255-8912. A summary of all citizen comments will be included in the amended Action Plan to be submitted to HUD on or before February 16, 2022 For more information, please contact the CDBG Disaster Recovery Program at (803) 545-4668.
