City of Columbia issued the following announcement on December 9.
The City of Columbia’s Solid Waste Department will be operating on regular schedule for the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s holiday.
City residents are encouraged to download the free “Columbia, SC Solid Waste” app for iPhone or Android for weekly collection reminders and holiday schedule changes. Residents can also sign up for other notification options online at https://publicworks.columbiasc.gov/waste-wizard/.
