Richland County recently issued the following announcement.
What: An in-person town hall meeting concerning a rezoning request for Killian Road
When: 6 p.m.-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6
Where: Richland County Adult Activity Center, 7494 Parklane Road, Columbia
Richland County Councilwoman Gretchen Barron, District 7, will hold hold this in-person meeting concerning a rezoning request. Barron and County planning staff will advise residents about the request while also addressing concerns and questions.
In order for County Council to enact a rezoning request, an ordinance amending the official zoning map must pass three readings by majority vote.
Face coverings will be required, and physical distancing measures will be enforced.
