City of Forest Acres issued the following announcement on December 2.
Join us in promoting the beauty of our city, especially during the holiday season. “Light the Acres” is sponsored by the Forest Acres Beautification Foundation. This is a new non-profit working to raise money to begin beautification projects in areas that need the help.
They want to start by getting the word out on who they are, and what they hope to accomplish, by supporting this free beautification campaign.
They are asking you to string lights or decor at your home or business and use the hashtag #lighttheacres
We will gladly share the creativity and beauty here on our pages as well
