The South Carolina football team will have a tough task ahead of it when the Gamecocks come off a bye week to host Florida on Nov. 6 under the lights at Williams-Brice Stadium.
The 7:30 p.m. contest will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
The Gators (4-3, 2-3 SEC East) will enter looking to continue their dominance over their fellow divisional rival in the Gamecocks (4-4, 1-4).
“Florida holds a 29-9-3 advantage in the all-time series between the two SEC Eastern Division rivals, including a 12-7-1 edge when playing in Columbia,” a South Carolina football release on Gamecocksonline.com said. “The Gators have won each of the last three gridiron meetings between the two schools, including a 38-24 win in Gainesville last season.”
The last time South Carolina came away victorious on the gridiron against Florida was in 2017, with a 28-20 home win.
Florida will enter next week's game having faced top-ranked Georgia.
