Margaret DuBose's winning entry in the #LoveColumbiaSC Photo Challenge. | City of Columbia/columbiasc.net/
Margaret DuBose, Shuan Hook, Kim Gearhart were named winners of the #LoveColumbiaSC Photo Challenge held during August and September.
Citizens of Columbia were encouraged to submit photos via social media of their favorite places, buildings, statues, and other points of interest within the city limits.
DuBose won the Instagram photo entry, Hook won for the best Twitter entry, and Gearhart, claimed top honors for Facebook.
According to the release announcing the winners, the photo challenge began in 2014 to expand knowledge of the city’s social media sites and increase use of technology to interact with citizens.
Entries had to be tagged with the City of Columbia and include the hashtag #LoveColumbiaSC.
