Richland County School District One issued the following announcement on September 16.
FREE COVID-19 TESTING FOR R1 STUDENTS & STAFF
Again this year, Richland One has partnered with Prisma Health to offer free COVID-19 rapid testing for Richland One students and staff. The testing will be done on Tuesday mornings only through February 15, with testing sites rotating among our seven high school campuses.
The nasal swab tests are only for Richland One students and staff who are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, such as shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, or a new or worsening cough. Parents who want their children to be tested should contact their child's school nurse.
