Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center: Jay Criscione & Family Golf Tournament of Hope

Cancerofmanycolors2

Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center recently issued the following announcement.

The 2021 Jay Criscione & Family Golf Tournament will honor & celebrate our friend, Will Branham. Will was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2019, which metastasized to his lungs in 2020.

Will was hired in 1983 by Norman Flynn as the Assistant Pro of the Country Club of Lexington. In 2002 Will was promoted to the position as the Head Golf Pro. In 2017 Will took a different position at the country club to accommodate other health concerns prior to being diagnosed with cancer.

Unfortunately, Will passed away in July 2021 under hospice at home with the loving care of his daughter Hope and son Corey.

Will was best known in the golf community as being kind, low key, and selfless. He will always be loved and highly respected among club members and professional golf community. The Branham family is grateful for your participation to raise money and awareness to support the many local cancer patients with their basic living expenses.
