Graduates earn 189 degrees, certificates from Centura College-Columbia

About 36 percent of the 189 degrees and certificates handed out by Centura College-Columbia in 2017-18 were to students in mechanic and repair technologies/technicians programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Columbia conferred 68 certificates in mechanic and repair technologies/technicians programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration maintenance technology/technician. Data shows the school gave out 68 certificates in heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration maintenance technology/technician, followed by 43 certificates in truck and bus driver/commercial vehicle operator and instructor and 31 certificates in medical office assistant/specialist.

The college enrolled 60 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
