No. 18 South Carolina will compete in the Moon Golf Invitational starting Sunday, February 15, in Melbourne, Florida. The tournament will run through February 17.

Last year, South Carolina finished third at the same event. Eila Galitsky achieved her first collegiate win during that tournament by shooting a 211 (-5) and securing victory with a 35-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole against Lottie Woad of Florida State. This win came in just her second appearance for South Carolina after joining mid-year.

This week’s lineup includes junior Vairana Heck, junior Maylis Lamoure, freshman Molly McLean, senior Mia Sandtorv Lussand, and sophomore Eila Galitsky. Heck has posted three top-20 finishes this season and led the team with a tie for ninth place at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge earlier this month. Sandtorv Lussand is making her first appearance in the team lineup this season after playing as an individual in the spring opener.

The field for this year’s invitational features strong competition, with 12 of the 17 teams ranked among the Clippd Top-25. Ten teams from the Southeastern Conference (SEC) are participating.

Mia Sandtorv Lussand will be the first player to tee off for South Carolina on Sunday at 9:40 a.m. Eastern Time from hole one. The Gamecocks are grouped with No. 7 Wake Forest and No. 8 Auburn for the opening round.

Live scoring will be available via Clippd here.

The full field includes Alabama, Auburn (No. 8), Duke (No. 13), Florida (No. 5), Florida State (No. 24), Louisville, LSU, Mississippi State (No. 16), NC State, Ole Miss (No. 14), South Carolina (No. 18), Tennessee (No. 22), Texas (No. 9), Texas A&M (No. 6), UCF (No. 15), Virginia, and Wake Forest (No. 7).
