The South Carolina swimming and diving team wrapped up the first day of the 2026 SEC Championships on Monday in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Senior Charley Bayer represented the Gamecocks in the men’s 1-meter diving event. He finished in 24th place with a score of 270.90. Bayer is scheduled to compete later this week in both the 3-meter and platform diving events.
