The South Carolina swimming and diving team wrapped up the first day of the 2026 SEC Championships on Monday in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Senior Charley Bayer represented the Gamecocks in the men’s 1-meter diving event. He finished in 24th place with a score of 270.90. Bayer is scheduled to compete later this week in both the 3-meter and platform diving events.

South Carolina’s Madina Okot has been named a finalist for the prestigious Lisa Leslie Center of the Year Award after a standout season marked by high rebounding numbers and consistent performances against top-ranked opponents. The winner will be selected by a committee including Hall of Famer Lisa Leslie.
The South Carolina Gamecocks softball team will host Boston College for a three-game series March 13-15 during their SEC bye week. The matchup features themed fan events each day and highlights key players from both teams.
South Carolina lost to Oklahoma in the SEC Tournament’s opening round on March 12. Key performances included Nijel Pack’s 24 points for Oklahoma and Kobe Knox’s team-high for South Carolina. The defeat ends South Carolina’s season.
