The University of South Carolina women’s golf team, ranked No. 18 nationally, will host the 14th Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at Long Cove Club in Hilton Head Island from March 2 to March 4. The event is scheduled to be broadcast live on Golf Channel each day from 2-5 p.m. Eastern Time, marking the fifth consecutive year the tournament has received live television coverage.

In 2022, the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate became the first regular season women’s college golf tournament to air live on TV.

Admission for spectators is free, and further details are available on the tournament’s official website.

Darius Rucker, a Grammy Award-winning artist and alumnus of South Carolina, will continue his tradition of hosting a private concert for participating teams ahead of the competition.

This year’s field includes 11 teams currently ranked in the Clippd Top-25 Poll. South Carolina has produced three consecutive individual champions at this event: Mathilde Claisse (2023), Hannah Darling (2024), and Louise Rydqvist (2025).

All eight players from South Carolina’s roster will compete this week. The main lineup features junior Vairana Heck, sophomore All-American Eila Galitsky, junior Maylis Lamoure, freshman Molly McLean, and freshman Laura Nepper. Senior Mia Sandtorv Lussand, redshirt junior Camila Burnett, and junior transfer Alicia Olsson will participate as individuals.

The opening round begins Monday morning with Laura Nepper teeing off first for South Carolina at 9:30 a.m. from hole 10. Live scoring will be provided by Clippd throughout the tournament. For round one, South Carolina is paired with No. 15 Ole Miss and No. 21 Arizona State.
