South Carolina baseball announces pre-season scrimmages open to public

The University of South Carolina baseball team is set to hold four scrimmages at Founders Park on the final weekend before the start of the 2026 season. The Gamecocks will play each day from Thursday, February 5, through Sunday, February 8.

Thursday’s scrimmage will begin at 4 p.m. and last for four innings. On Friday, the team will also play at 4 p.m., but this scrimmage will extend to six innings. Saturday’s session starts at 2 p.m. and continues for six innings, while Sunday’s scrimmage begins at 1:30 p.m. and consists of five innings.

All sessions are free and open to the public. Organizers note that scrimmage times may change and encourage attendees to monitor Gamecock Baseball social media platforms for updates.
