The University of South Carolina has released the schedule for its 2026 spring football practices, marking the sixth year under head coach Shane Beamer. The Gamecocks will hold 15 practices over six weeks, starting Wednesday, March 4 and concluding Saturday, April 11.

Practices are set to take place at the football practice fields near Gamecock Park or in the Jerri and Steve Spurrier indoor facility. All sessions will begin at 9:30 am.

Media access is limited to five designated dates—March 4, March 18, March 25, March 31, and April 8—when credentialed reporters can observe the first three periods of practice. Media members must enter through a specific gate and will be escorted by staff. No live streaming is permitted during these viewing windows.

Head coach Shane Beamer will hold press conferences on five Tuesdays throughout spring drills: March 3, March 24, March 31, April 7, and April 14. These briefings are scheduled for 1 pm and will be streamed live on the official athletics website.

Offensive coordinator Kendal Briles and defensive coordinator Clayton White are scheduled to meet with media twice during spring camp—on Monday, March 16 and Monday, April 6 at 12:15 pm. Position coaches will also have set media availabilities on March 23 (Randy Clements, Shawn Elliott, Deion Barnes, Travian Robertson) and March 30 (Stan Drayton, Mike Furrey, Torrian Gray, Matthew Smiley), both beginning at 12:15 pm.

Players approved for interviews will be available after practice around noon on five Wednesdays: March 4, March 18, March 25, April 1 and April 8. Media requests for player interviews must be submitted two days in advance.

South Carolina’s annual Pro Timing Day is scheduled for Tuesday, March 17. Former players will perform drills for NFL scouts starting at the operations facility weight room before moving to the indoor field. The event is closed to the public but open to media observation during on-field activities.

The Sixth Annual Shane Beamer Football Coaches Clinic takes place from March 27-28. Attendees can interact with staff across all areas of football operations and observe team practices as part of their experience.
