On February 4, 2026, Scott wrote, “2026 must be the year of affordability. That starts with housing. The bipartisan ROAD to Housing Act passed out of @BankingGOP 24-0 and is how we bring down costs, expand supply, and restore the American Dream for working families.” He referred to the passage of the ROAD to Housing Act through the Senate Banking Committee by a unanimous vote.
