The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has announced a temporary closure of the Sea Mountain Highway swing bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway in Horry County. The maintenance work is scheduled to begin on June 19 at 7 p.m., with the bridge expected to reopen on June 20.

SCDOT advises drivers to exercise caution and remain attentive when navigating near the work zone.
