Celebrate Pride Month in the Flooodplain!

Join our guided hiking parade on the board walk with Ranger Karli and Volunteers. This hike will focus on Congaree’s biodiversity and the grassroots campaign that saved this park.
This event is a Pride Celebration, you are encouraged and welcome to dress up and celebrate pride month with us. The hike will take place on the boardwalk loop which is 2.6 miles, we will be on the boardwalk for about 2 hours. All hiking experience levels are welcome!

Things to Know:

– All participants must have a reservation through Eventbrite in order to join our parade. This program is limited to 35 participants.

– Will will be encouraging social distancing, mask wearing is optional.

– The parade will be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.

– During this time of year, the weather is expected to be hot and humid, please dress in clothing that allows you to be comfortable in the heat and shoes that are comfortable to hike in. Make sure to bring a water bottle with you and anything else you might need for our hike.
