Junior Pierre Largeron will represent the South Carolina men’s swimming and diving team at the 2026 NCAA Championships, which will take place from March 25 to March 28 at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Largeron’s participation highlights his achievements this season and provides an opportunity for him to compete against top collegiate swimmers. The event brings together athletes from across the country who have qualified based on their performances during the season.

Largeron qualified for three events—the 200, 500, and 1650-yard freestyle—but is set to compete in only two: the 200-yard freestyle on Thursday and the 500-yard freestyle on Friday. He enters the championship meet following two top-15 finishes at the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Championships, where he placed sixth in the 500-yard freestyle and thirteenth in the 200-yard freestyle. Additionally, he contributed to two relay teams that finished within the top ten.

This season, Largeron has secured nine individual event wins and set one pool record. The preliminary heats are scheduled each day at 10 a.m., with finals beginning at 6 p.m. All sessions of the championship will be streamed live on ESPN+. More information about viewing options can be found on the official championship website.

The competition schedule lists Thursday for Largeron’s appearance in the 200-yard freestyle event and Friday for his participation in the 500-yard freestyle.
