The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has announced a temporary closure of Judson Road over Sweet Swamp in Dillon County. The closure, set to begin on June 10, is for bridge repairs and is expected to continue until September 2025.

During this period, a detour route will be established using SC 57, SC 9, and Harllees Bridge Road. A map detailing the detour is available. It is important to note that Judson Road will remain accessible to local traffic only, with the exception of the work site.

SCDOT advises drivers to “slow down and pay attention when driving near the work zone.”
