Jackie Terribile, a candidate for the South Carolina Statehouse, has recently posted several comments on her social media account, ranging from personal anecdotes to criticisms of state spending.

On May 7, Terribile referenced a friend in a lighthearted manner, posting: “Some people peak in high school. My BFF apparently peaks in @Moms4Liberty t-shirt ads. Proud of you, supermodel.”

The following day, she addressed state budget priorities with a critical tone toward legislative decisions. On May 8, she wrote: “Somewhere in Columbia, lawmakers looked at South Carolina’s roads, gas prices, and cost of living…

…and still decided $1,000 in taxpayer money should go toward interviewing a descendant of a samurai.

You really cannot make this stuff up.” She included hashtags referencing South Carolina politics and her campaign.

On May 10, Terribile shared greetings for the holiday with: “Happy Mother’s Day!”

Terribile is running for office amid ongoing debates over public spending and infrastructure needs in South Carolina. Issues such as road maintenance and rising costs have been prominent topics among both lawmakers and voters across the state.
