Topic: Combating Violent Crime to Protect the Safety and Economic Viability of our Community
Speakers: South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson and Byron Gipson, Solicitor of the 5th Circuit

A rise in crime directly impacts economic and development opportunities in our community. What is being done now to prevent further escalation of Columbia’s current high crime rate? How can the business community help? Join us as we explore these topics and what a rise in crime can mean for all businesses – small and large.

The Issues Forum exists to provide a place where Columbia Chamber Partners can discuss and address local, regional, and federal issues facing the business community. Meetings are currently being held on the first Tuesday of each month at 8:00 AM. Meetings are free and open to all who wish to attend.
