Question: Where should I go if it’s not safe to stay in my home?
Answer: Go to a neighbor’s house, a relative’s home, or a hotel. At this time, the County is not planning to open any Red Cross shelters before or after the storm.
Q: Does the County provide sand or sandbags?
A: The County does not provide sand or sandbags to the public.
Q: Who do I call if I have structural damage to my home?
A: First, call your insurance company to report damage. You can also call volunteer organizations who might be able to assist, such as the United Methodist Church or the Southern Baptist Association.
Q: How do I report a power outage?
A: Either call your power provider to report power disruptions, or go to their website to report it. The following providers also have mobile apps for reporting outages:
