South Carolina’s men’s golf team tied for 12th place at the Southern Highlands Collegiate in Las Vegas, finishing with a total score of 886 (+22) over three rounds. The tournament featured nine teams ranked in the top 25 nationally.

Frankie Harris, a redshirt senior and All-American from Boca Raton, Florida, led South Carolina with a tie for 17th place. Harris shot an even-par 216 (69-73-74) and made 11 birdies during the event. This marks his fifth top-20 finish in six starts this season and brings his career total to 19 top-20 finishes in 28 appearances over the past three seasons.

Senior Zach Adams finished tied for 30th at three-over-par (219), posting scores of 74, 73, and 72 with eight birdies across the tournament.

The overall team leaderboard saw Virginia claim first place by one stroke over Auburn, finishing at 15-under-par (849). Texas’ Christian Mass was the individual medalist with a score of 206 (-10), shooting rounds of 70, 68, and 68 to win by two shots.

South Carolina will next compete at The Hayt tournament in Jacksonville, Florida from March 7 to March 9 at Sawgrass Country Club.
