South Carolina’s track and field teams concluded a successful weekend at competitions in Clemson and Boston, breaking two program records and achieving seven new Top 10 marks.

At the Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, the Gamecock men’s team won all four events they entered. The 4x400m relay team of Josiah Wrice, Jasauna Dennis, Devan Crumpton, and Andrew Salvodon set a program record with a time of 3:00.86, which is also the second fastest relay time in collegiate history. Wrice began the race with a 45.42 split, followed by Dennis at 45.15, Crumpton at 45.28, and Salvodon closing with a 45.02 split.

Tyson Williams won the men’s 200m sprint with a time of 20.51 seconds. In field events, Khaliq Muhammad cleared 5.35 meters in pole vault for a personal best and the fifth-best mark in school history. Logan Montgomery threw the shot put 19.64 meters on his final attempt to win the event; his performance ranks sixth all-time for South Carolina indoors.

The women’s distance squad competed at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston and posted three Top 10 program marks out of five events on Saturday. Salma Elbadra broke her own school record in the indoor mile with a time of 4:27.54, finishing sixth overall in her event section and placing among this season’s NCAA leaders.

Abigail White set a personal best of 4:43.15 in the open section of the mile for seventh place overall—the fifth-fastest mark in program history—while Eline Mast ran 4:48.14 for ninth all-time at South Carolina.

Jade Buridon made her collegiate debut in the indoor 800m, finishing in 2:06.60 to take sixth on South Carolina’s all-time list for that event.

In sprints at Clemson, JaMeesia Ford debuted this season indoors with a time of 22.61 seconds in the women’s 200m—second fastest nationally this year—while Alexis Brown placed fifth with a season-best time of 23.09 seconds.

South Carolina will finish its indoor regular season next Saturday, February 21, hosting the USC Invite at Sheila & Morris Cregger Indoor Track—a meet that will also serve as Senior Day for several athletes.

Breakdown of notable results:
– Men’s individual victories included Tyson Williams (200m), Khaliq Muhammad (pole vault), and Logan Montgomery (shot put).
– Women’s top performances included JaMeesia Ford (second place, indoor debut) and Abigail White (personal best mile).
