Are you a farmer looking for new opportunities, connections or resources to enhance your operation?

The Richland Soil and Water Conservation District is partnering with the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association and other organizations for a free, upcoming in-person workshop that will focus on programs and information for South Carolina farmers.

Whether you’re getting started in agriculture, seeking to diversify your production with a high tunnel, or trying to find funding for an innovative idea, this is the place to be.

Topics include, but are not limited to: 

  • Production assistance
  • Small-business assistance
  • Grants
  • Cost share programs
  • Training programs

The workshop will take place at the Garners Ferry Adult Activity Center, 8620 Garners Ferry Road, Hopkins. Register by May 17. The maximum number of attendees for this event is 20.
