During the Special-Called City Council meeting on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, City Council approved Resolution 2023-003, which allows for a special election for the vacant District 4 Council seat.
The date for the District 4 special election has been set for Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
The District 4 Council representative is required to serve for the remainder of the unexpired term ending on December 31, 2025.
