What: School supplies giveaway

When: Noon-3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12

Where: Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, 201 John Mark Dial Drive, Columbia

Richland County’s Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center will host the Back 2 School Inaugural Extravaganza, a school supplies giveaway. Curbside pickup will be available, and supplies will be given away first come, first served. 

The event will also feature children’s activities, including bounce houses and a firetruck walk-through. 

This event is for Richland County School District 1 residents.
