Former River Bluff High School standout and current Wingate Bulldogs player, Aaron Griffin will compete in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
They begin the tournament as a number four seed against the fourth seeded Benedict Tigers.
The first game is on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m.
The Southern Company Peach Bowl Challenge golf tournament was canceled due to bad weather after only three holes were played. Despite this setback, all participating coaches will direct their share of a $312,000 purse to their chosen charities.
